We ordered the Local Highline Lager, the White Sangria, and the Patio Perfect Sangria — all refreshing and perfect for a sunny day. For appetizers, we had the calamari and yam fries, both crispy and delicious. We finished with the warm apple crisp for dessert, which was comforting and full of flavor. The service was excellent — attentive and friendly. And the atmosphere? Absolutely beautiful. We sat out on the patio with a stunning mountain view, and it made the whole experience even more special. Overall, this place is a gem. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy great food, drinks, and a scenic patio setting.

I recently had a great dining experience at this restaurant with a lovely patio. The outdoor seating area was nicely decorated, making it a pleasant place to sit and enjoy a meal. The food was delicious, with fresh ingredients and well-balanced flavors. The service was also impressive—attentive and friendly without being overbearing. Overall, it was a wonderful place to dine with a nice patio, tasty food, and excellent service.

The food was excellent, the views amazing, and the staff very friendly. It was a little slow due to us being inside (and one of the only ones inside), but the staff was great and the food was well worth the wait.

Stopped by The Wood Restaurant in Canmore on our way to Banff from Calgary and absolutely loved it! The patio was perfect sunny, spacious, and with stunning mountain views all around. It was the ideal spot to relax and soak in the scenery. The service was friendly, and the food came out quickly and tasted great. A lovely place to take a break during the drive, highly recommend if you’re passing through Canmore.

Food was excellent, our server Rafael was even better. Everything tasted amazing, cajun chicken was perfectly seasoned and juicy, salad was delicious and refreshing, and the tuna stack was a perfect blend of tastes. Great chips too. Attentive, kind, fun 10/10 service. Great place to wind down and relax after hiking :)

My partner and I were very happy after visiting The Wood Restaurant. They have a big patio with lots of seating as well as an indoor option. The mountain views on a beautiful sunny day was just amazing. The food was a little pricier and to my surprise the portion sizes reflect this as the shareables we got left us stuffed! Also, they have a wide array of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to suit everyone’s needs. I highly recommend if you’re willing to pay a bit extra. (FYI-We got the Chicken Wonton Nachos and the Spinach and cheese dip)

Awesome food and service. NY striploin steak was cooked perfectly paired with garlic mashed potatoes and broccoli and carrots. Also ordered the Wood Burger and Crispy Salmon burger..upgraded to Caesar salad and yam fries. Both was tasty and just the right amount of food. Kids menu came with a drink and ice cream. Highly recommend this place.
